Less Epic

Home… all day…

Why is it that I keep planning to hit a coffee shop, only to spend the entire day in my apartment? It was a beautiful day today. Well, it looked beautiful. Certainly staying at home is cheaper (right?) and I have more options for food and water here. But, as I said yesterday, I need to get out. I’m going to start talking to my cats, and expecting them to respond back. Ugh. Toomrrow I head to Sue’s house to discuss me, thesis, etc. And of course to see her new kitchen. Excited about that. I’m curious because I’ve never seen something that she’s designed or had a hand in designing. She’s a facilitator.

Digital TV!

I couldn’t believe the UPS guy brought my new digital tv converter and antenna today – wow that was quick. Didn’t I just order that last night? Wow. It was a little bit of a pain to install, not because of the equipment, but because I couldn’t find a good cable and a connector. But, it seems to be working fairly well. It does have its choppy moments. And I can’t seem to get Fox in well at all. Apparently that’s not unusual. I’ll try taking the amplifier off and see if that works. Although, now that I put everything back together in my living room, I get to tear it all apart again. Yippee. But the $50.00 inclu shipping I spent was well worth it. I think I have like 12 channels. Its just nice to have it on in the background. Now, if I can get the cable for my iriver from my car (pretty please!) and get that together, I’ll be set in the living room to really be able to enjoy the room.

Bradley

On the eve of the due day for the Wiscap Vista report to the state office, I get an email from Bradley, asking for more information. Seriously man?? I submitted that report almost a month ago. And I even asked him to look at it at the beginning of the month when we met in Wis Rapids. What does that guy do exactly? But, thankfully he did find out that I can get reimbursed (or rather Advocap can) for the Greener Business conference in March.

Cinnamon Tea

Enjoying a little bit of tea right now. But definitely need some stevia. And to not enjoy something so caffeinated before bed. Wow. I can feel it in my eyes. Glad I packed some for Sue’s too. Thanks Holly and Ken! :D

Olympics

Love me some Olympics. Odd to watch w/o a DVR though. Its not the commercials I mind, so much as I like fast forwarding. Women’s half pipe and Men’s free skate tonight.

Work?

Alright, kinda getting somewhere today. Working on the office supplies sheet from Staples. Although, in November I was told the products would be revamped for December 09. And today I look for the e-catalog, and its not there. I email our contact w/ Staples, who finds out its now being revamped for April. Wow. That makes things a little more difficult. So, do I forge ahead with what they have, or pause that AGAIN and move to something else? Erg.  And I really gotta do my timesheets. What do I write? Research perhaps? Again? I know Lu doesn’t care. Although I did research a concrete wall system that might be promising for a couple of the homes. Need to find a local distributor though.

Tomorrow

Sue… going to Cool Beans for paperwork, finally clean out my car at Goodwill. Hmmm… what else…  I’d like to say coffee shop, but well…

Seriously Old Navy? Dumb commercial.
